Can someone PLEASE help me?? My son and I both attend Ashford University online and our internet is going to be shut off on Thursday January 19th. We will both be dropped from classes if we do not meet attendance and will lose our financial aid. I need to pay at least 80 dollars to get them to work with me and allow me to pay off the balance when we get paid on the 3rd of February. PLEASE, IF you know anyone, or an agency or would be willing to help please let me know I would be forever grateful. Thank you and God Bless You!

Anyone with some advice? Also I'm looking for affordable housing. Thank you. I look forward to talking with you.

your Own Free Web-page

By kriss L - on Jul 26, 2011
Posted in kriss L

I was questioned on the site I have linked to my account here and how I could afford it.. I thought to myself "Why didn't I share this before now so maybe other people could have the same kind of advantage??"

The page I have is set up through www.webs.com.. There you can find resources for FREE to help you set up a webpage, which is what I did before I even came across this site.. For the most part it is exceptionally self explanatory and easy.. If you have a paypal account you can easily use the HTML button to link a donate button to your account.. It has many selections for any content you'd like to put up from links to pictures to videos and news.. I truly hope that if anyone was looking for something like this, or just didn't know where to start that this might be a foot in the right direction.. If you actually decide on making one and need any help feel free to ask.

As for my internet I'm lucky enough to have a neighbor who shares wireless with me, and if I don't have the chance to use my mothers computer I visit the local library when and if I can make it.. If I can think of anything else resource-wise that I use that may help or inspire someone else I will definitely post.

I was referred to this website a short time ago. At first, I thought it was a scam, but after learning more about it with research, I decided to spend the $10.00 to enroll in this Section 8  program.  I ended up being pleasantly surprised :)   You can prepare applications online and get on the waiting list for section 8 in several areas. This packet can really help those in need. All you need is to do is purchase the packet, fill out application correctly, and get approved after all info is put in.  It's great for those of you who do not want to, or cannot physically go/drive and apply for section 8.

There's even a site to receive help with a small grant. This grant will help buy groceries, put gas in your car or pay a bill. Mention that Christine616 referred you, and receive a $10.00 credit!  Well worth it!  Thanks everyone!

Good luck, and May God Bless You!

Applications for the Section 8 Consolidation program are being accepted weekly online nationwide.   http://www.section8programs.com/

I am looking at starting a website geared towards teaching people how to make money online, offering free resources and information. My revenue stream will come from advertisments that will be on the site. I realise this is of little help to you right now I am just letting you know for future reference as I may in the future offer a presence for advertising any small bussiness that you may be working with that fits in to the niche of the site content.

Thank you and I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors.

I am ready to launch a web based marketing/advertising business that will focus on helping small businesses to have an identity, a brand, a voice and exposure on the internet.  This is perfect during this time of recession to really get businesses out there that can't afford traditional advertising costs right now, who can?  This is an affordable solution and I'm confident in the results.  I have a solid business plan relatively low start up costs, I just need some help.  I'm looking towards grants, investment possibly, loans.. anyhelp I can get to launch this and make it happen.  I'm totally legit and would love to discuss this with anyone who has resources or could point me in the right direction.  Please feel free to email me and we can discuss on the phone even.

Thank you!

Discussing about internet faxing.

Internet faxing has become very poplar world wide for many small and large businesses.

Enterprises every where are using internet faxing when sending files to their clients. However it mostly fits people that are always on the move.

Many companies and also home businesses are using internet faxing but I think that it is mostly used frequently by people that have their home businesses. There has been a tremendous growth since internet faxing become available. However the internet faxing has become a main priority for the small businesses today. Upgrading your computer system is one of the options to accommodate the internet faxing.

It’s a way of cutting the cost of purchasing a fax machine, and it’s a great way to have facility in order to send and receive fax any and every where in the world, Just as long as your internet connection is reliable. It doesn’t require any phone connection or paper.

Affordable cost

The internet fax preliminary set up cost is at the lowest. Many online businesses are now using internet faxing instead of the traditional fax machine to sending and receiving fax. A phone line is not required when availing this particular service. Using internet faxing doesn’t require thermal paper roll or ink, however the fax machine does.

This has many benefits and I know for a fact that the internet fax service definitely saves you a lot of money. This service does require a sign up fee base upon the amount of fax you are sending, with a very low cost of $5 to $10 per month.

Internet faxing can avail around the world, but it does require that you have internet connection. Internet fax service is a web base. However using the service you won’t be confined to the office or your home to be able to use the internet fax. It’s a very convenient for mobile business professionals and travelers.

I think that it’s a convenient for people working in this field such as: medical personal and also real estate agents and marketing.

Recommendable for small or large businesses.

Home business and small company or any other business, this service would be ideal for them with most business if you are sending a large amount of fax you will be offered a discount to meet your budget. When using the internet fax in itself there is a substantial saving if you choose this service.

I need a wealthy person to help me - $1000 plus!!!

By Reg - on Feb 17, 2007... modified on Feb 17, 2007

I am looking for a fairly wealthy person to help me set up a brand new TLD for a non-profit organisation.

This will mean $1,000 set up fee, then $250 per year after that to keep it running.

Then we can sell domain names under these TLDs and the business partner can make their money back.

This is not some kind of random scam.  I cannot name the TLD in case someone else registers it first - but I do need help.

I will be eternely grateful.

Hi Brad, Please have a look at the links in the "See AidPages related to: "SMALL BUSINESS"..." section on this page. Some of the links there (for instance the one to the Small Business Loans page) might be exactly the information you need to start applying for federal grants and loans. How to troubleshoot situations where you cannot complete a secure log in with Internet Explorer

By PCTech - on Apr 24, 2005... modified on Jul 4, 2005
Posted in PCTech

In general none of the ISP providers are obligated to help you with this - if you can open a web page, that is as far as their tech support will go. Your PC manufacturer will NOT help you with this issue. And your last resort - Microsoft, will charge you for live tech support approximately $35/h... So, to avoid hours of arguing with tech support reps, here is what you have to do to fix this type of problem:

DELETE THE TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES To delete the temporary Internet files, follow these steps:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
3. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Cookies.
4. Click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
5. Click Delete Files.
6. Click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
7. Under History, click Clear History.
8. Click Yes when you are prompted to delete your history of visited Web sites.
9. Click OK.

CONFIGURE SECURITY, CONTENT, AND ADVANCED SETTINGS IN INTERNET EXPLORER To configure security, content, and advanced settings in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

1. Configure the security settings for the Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps: a. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab b. Click Trusted sites, and then click Default Level. c. Add the SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web site to the Trusted sites zone. To do this, click Sites, type the URL of the site in the Add this Web site to the zone box, click Add, click OK, and then click Apply.
2. Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state and AutoComplete history. To do this, follow these steps: a. Click the Content tab. b. Under Certificates, click Clear SSL State. c. Click OK when you receive the message that the SSL cache was successfully cleared. d. Under Personal information, click AutoComplete. e. Under Clear AutoComplete history, click Clear Forms, and then click OK when you are prompted to confirm the operation. f. Click Clear Passwords, click OK when you are prompted to clear all previously saved passwords, and then click OK two times.
3. Verify that Internet Explorer is configured to use SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0. To do this, follow these steps: a. Click the Advanced tab. b. Under Security in the Settings box, select the Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 check boxes (if they are not already selected), and then click OK.

VERIFY THAT THE DATE AND TIME SETTINGS ON YOUR COMPUTER ARE CORRECT To verify that your computer is configured with the correct date and time settings, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click Date and Time.
3. Click the Date & Time tab.
4. Make sure that the date and time settings are configured to use the current date and time, and then click OK.

VERIFY THAT YOUR COMPUTER IS USING 128-bit ENCRIPTION To verify that your computer is using 128-bit encryption, follow these steps:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Help menu, click About Internet Explorer.
3. The level of encryption on your computer appears next to the words Cipher Strength. Verify that the Cipher Strength value appears as 128-bit.
4. Click OK.

USE SYSTEM RESTORE TO RETURN YOUR COMPUTER TO A PREVIOUS STATE The System Restore feature in Windows XP takes a "snapshot" of critical system files and some program files and stores this information as restore points. You can use these restore points to return Windows XP to a previous state.

VERIFY THE CONFIGURATION OF YOUR THIRD-PARTY FIREWALL OR ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS Make sure that third-party firewall or antivirus programs that are installed on your computer are configured correctly and are not preventing you from connecting to security-enhanced Web sites. For more information, see the product documentation, or contact the program vendor.

USE THE SYSTEM FILE CHECKER (Sfc.exe) TOOL TO SCAN ALL Windows File Protection (WFP)-PROTECTED FILES Use System File Checker with the /scannow parameter to immediately scan and verify the versions of all the system files that Windows File Protection helps protect. If System File Checker discovers that such a file was overwritten, it retrieves the correct version of the file from the cache folder (SystemrootSystem32Dllcache) or from the Windows installation source files, and then replaces the incorrect file. System File Checker also checks and repopulates the cache folder. You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to run System File Checker. To run System File Checker with the /scannow parameter, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press ENTER.

VERIFY THAT THE Microsoft Cryptographic Services SERVICE IS STARTED To verify that the Cryptographic Services service is started, or to start it if it is not already started, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type net start cryptsvc, and then press ENTER.
4. Type exit to quit Command Prompt.

    RE-REGISTER .dll files Re-register the following .dll files: Softpub.dll Wintrust.dll Initpki.dll Dssenh.dll Rsaenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Sccbase.dll Slbcsp.dll Cryptdlg.dll To re-register these files, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type the following lines and press ENTER after each line: regsvr32 softpub.dll regsvr32 wintrust.dll regsvr32 initpki.dll regsvr32 dssenh.dll regsvr32 rsaenh.dll regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll regsvr32 sccbase.dll regsvr32 slbcsp.dll regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
4. Click OK when you receive the message that DllRegisterServer in FileName succeeded.
5. Type exit.

CREATE A NEW USER PROFILE You may not be able to locate SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web sites if your Windows user profile is damaged. To troubleshoot, log on to the computer as another user and try to connect to a SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web site. If you can connect to SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web sites when you are logged in as a different user, your user profile may be corrupted. To resolve the problem, back up the information and settings that you want from your profile (for example, the My Documents and Favorites folders), and then delete the damaged profile. To delete a user profile, follow these steps:

1. Log on to the computer as Administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
4. Click the Advanced tab, and then under User Profiles, click Settings.
5. In the Profiles stored on this computer list, click the user profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
6. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
7. Click OK two times, and then quit Control Panel.
8. Log off the computer as Administrator, and then log on as the user. Windows creates a new profile for the user.

NOTE: Alternatively, you may want to create a new user, and then copy the data from your old profile to the profile of the new user.
